| Developed by the Chicago-based design company Inventables, the Transparent Toaster is an innovative concept allowing bread to be watched as it toasts. | ||||||||||

The concept is based on transparent heating glass, which, though currently not hot enough to toast bread, is under development, making the end to burnt toast a real possibility. A definite "to bring" next time you stay over at your parents'!
