| Toyota i-foot – is an over 7 ft., two-legged, walking, mountable robot developed for three-dimensional mobility, with the ability to navigate staircases. The passenger climbs on, straps in, and drives it with a joystick. | ||||||||||

The i-foot is meant to carry a disabled person up or down the stairs and facilitates mounting and dismounting by bending backwards at the knees to lower the egg-shaped seat close to the floor. At present, however, this prototypic robot is limited to a carrying capacity of only 60 kg (132 lbs.) and a travel speed of 1.35 km/h (0.84 mph).
