The Sonic Bed - Developed by designer Kaffe Matthews as part of a research project called "Music for Bodies", the Sonic Bed aims to: "develop an understanding of the electromagnetic frequency maps of the human body and of the effect of different sonic vibrations on its different areas".

The elevated frame bed incorporates four 15'' sub woofers and six tweeters in various locations beneath the bed. The frequencies emitted by the bed are meant to be heard as well as felt, and they can be customized to produce specific sensations that soothe you to sleep.
